Overview

A Client record is the central workspace for one veteran. It keeps the Client’s information, records, communications, and claim-preparation work in context. The record opens on Dashboard by default.

Choose the right tab

  • Dashboard gives you a configurable operational view of client-specific work.
  • Claims shows claims scoped to the Client. The same Claim records are also available from the global Claims workspace.
  • Details contains Client information, organization-defined fields, notes, and related context.
  • Forms prepares, reviews, and tracks forms and vSign work.
  • Documents stores and organizes Client records and supporting material.
  • Messages is the secure conversation with the Client.
  • Conditions is a Beta, Client-level surface available only when AI is enabled for the organization.
  • Tasks shows Client-specific follow-up work. Tasks also have a global workspace.
  • Relationships links the reusable Contacts involved with the Client.
  • Calendar shows Client-specific events. Calendar also has a global workspace.
  • Activity is the Client-specific operational feed.

Work in a Client record

1

Find or add the Client

Open an existing Client from Contacts, or add a Client after checking for duplicates.
2

Start with the Dashboard

Review the current work, then open the tab that matches your next action.
3

Review the underlying record

When a widget, task, activity, or summary needs attention, open the related record before acting.
4

Verify before relying on information

Confirm Client information, source records, and generated or suggested content through your organization’s review process.

Best practices

  • Keep one clear Client record for each veteran.
  • Use the global Claims, Tasks, and Calendar workspaces for cross-client work; use their Client tabs when the work is specific to one Client.
  • Keep Client data and documents in the correct record before starting downstream work.
