Overview

The Reports area in Templates contains reusable report templates. Generated reports are working outputs used in Client workflows. These are related, but not the same thing.

When to use

Use Reports when you need to locate a reusable report template or review a generated report output for claim-preparation work.

Prerequisites

  • The correct Client and matter
  • The relevant source records
  • Any organization-specific direction for the report

Step-by-step

1

Choose the appropriate report

Select the report template or generated report that matches the work you are performing.
2

Generate the working draft

Use the records available in the Client record when the workflow offers that option.
3

Review the sources

Confirm material dates, events, and findings against the underlying record.
4

Apply professional judgment

Correct, refine, or remove anything unsupported before use.

Best practices

  • Treat every generated report as a draft.
  • Review citations and surrounding source context.
  • Keep human approval in the final workflow.

Common mistakes

Do not share, file, or rely on a generated report without independent review.
  • Generating a report before the relevant records are available
  • Leaving unsupported statements in the draft
