Generate and Process Forms

Generate Forms:

  • Click “Add Forms” to effortlessly generate forms from your organization and client data. Currently, we support:

    • 20-0995 Decision Review Request: Supplemental Claim

    • 20-0996 Decision Review Request: Higher-Level Review

    • 21-0966 Intent to File a Claim for Compensation and/or Pension, or Survivors Pension and/or DIC

    • 21-22a Appointment of Individual as Claimant’s Representative

    • 21-4138 Statement in Support of Claim

Review and Edit Forms:

  • Edit a Form: Click the form to open and edit details on a separate tab.

    • IMPORTANT: Follow the steps below to ensure your form changes are reflected on Vala.

    1. You will need to save and download the changes to your computer.

    2. Click “⋮” to “Upload Edited PDF” to reflect changes to your form.

  • Download: Click “⋮” to “Download” the pre-filled forms.

  • Send to Client: Click “⋮” to “Send to Client” to view your form options in a new tab. You will be able to assign dates, signatures, and initials fields. Once the form is sent, your file will be moved to “Awaiting Signature.

    • Download the file

    • Email the form directly

    • Provide a link to your client for review

Review and Submit to VA:

  • Once your client has signed the form through Signwell, the form will automatically be moved to “Review and Submit to VA”

Add Client Documents:

Upload Documents:

  • Click “Select Files” to add any relevant client documentation to your case.

Organize Documents:

  • Click the “⋯” button to the right of the file to edit and organize your document

    • Title

    • Category

    • Notes

    • Linked Claims
